Cable Logger Action in WR 12C

This monday Weld and Flozza crew hit the evil cable logged coupe WR12C in the south weld. Two intrepid bunnies were in sits 20 metres up cable loggers, with attempts to tie off loading machines foiled by the early and burly arrival of the Huon Valley Truck Push Champions , the Bennetts. A weird and somewhat heavy day, with utes smashing through flaming barrels, contractors secretly shitting in crew's sleeping bags, Tony Bennet asking crew for autographs, and some unknown person, either from FT or one of the two contractor crews in the area, taxing a couple of tredleys from a stash spot.

Terry "Little Hitler" Ware also put on his usual show, threatening the usual OH&S rubbish and promising to go and dob on us to Gunns. Recent legislative change in Tassie means that Workplace Health and Safety can no issue $2500 on the spot fines which seem to be targeted at activists. These are yet to be tested.

Work was halted until 3pm, with rescue figuring out how to get up the cable loggers. The bunnies were sent to remand but got out the same night, albeit with thrice weekly reporting conditions.

ONCE AGAIN ALL LIES

* First it was not 20 meters up the pole it was 27 meters.
* They are not the Huon Valley Truck PUSH Champions. The Bennett's
* They are the Huon Valley Truck PULL, Chainsaw Challenge and Bush Push Champions. The Breaker Brothers.
and once again they broke you!!!!!!
* Did not shit in your sleeping bags (not that low)
you probably shit it yourself.
* Was not Tony Bennett who asked you for your autographs but another member of the crew.
But why not you are pretty famous.

So get your facts straight.

ONCE AGAIN ALL LIES!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it useful to point out semantic errors when the lies and misinformation perpetuated by the industry are so extensive and structural? And is a cable logger worth two bucks? This is not a historical document, just a blog, and I'm happy to correct any errors made.

*does it matter if it's 20 or 27 m up a cable logger?next time I will bring the laser rangefinder and the GPS. maybe then we can ensure that contractors don't log any reserves ala AR34C.

*Push or Pull champions? definately pulling something. we are broke already and do not give a fuck. however we are not in the position to lose 10k a day.who got broken?

*Somebody defecated and urinated in an activists sleeping bag. Yes the Bennett's are somewhat scary but why would activists take a crap in their own sleeping bag? and it definately wasnt me.

*slip of the keyboard. sorry Neil.

that's enough of my day wasted on this but feel free to continue the dialogue( and put your name on it ).

I also noticed that there was no inference of lying regarding the theft of the pushies.

I Supposed Neil would be at work along with all the others.

Well done Louise..... these guys really need to be held accountable for their actions. If I recall, Wazza was the very person to throw himself at the Prime Ministers car and make the front page of the Mercury last week, with some woman who looked like the spokesperson Jenny Webber sensationalising the actions from the background.

Now it is this kind of action that demonstrates that these people will stop at nothing - even if it endangers lives to get a point across - even if it far from the truth.

The time will come when the law will finally come down on their actions.

I have no connection with either side, but see that the environmentalists are going too far and are losing support with their so-called non violent actions.

Hi there.

I take legal responsibility for my actions, and we do not endanger lives - contractors, FT and Tasmanian Police have that covered .

Mrs S. Moore, can you provide an example where we have conducted ourselves in a violent manner? And how is Wagga?

"with some woman who looked like the spokesperson Jenny Webber sensationalising the actions from the background" - I also saw elvis and Harold Holt lurking in the background somewhere as well.

If destruction of ancient forest continues, we will continue our non-violent actions. The planet is more important than the "impartial" views of
(a)pathetic people. Many people support what we do as a necessary step in the process of ecosystem protection.
